Coney Island is the World Famous neighborhood of southern Brooklyn. Its population is about 25,000 people.

Coney Island is accessible via the New York City Subway, specifically the D, F & Q lines. As well as many bus lines and of course via car. It is most easily accessible via the Belt Parkway. Plans for 2021 show the NYC Ferry Service beginning a Coney Island route.
Coney Island neighbors the Manhattan Beach, Gravesend, Sea Gate and Brighton Beach neighborhoods of Brooklyn.
